Who is this Finance Economist? That's the name of this youtube site. Is t his a person? A magazine? A noted source. I can['t find anything on "Finance Economist" to find the source of this information.

And the entire video seems to be discussing stockpiling for emergency situations, as in preparing for a hurricane or some other such emergency. We are not facing any national emergency. Whole video sounds alarmist.

The only shortage we appear to have is of eggs due to the chicken virus. And this arbitrary May 1 date also sounds alarmist. What will be the difference between April 30 and May 1? 24 hours? Suddenly all the items listed will run out?

We have plenty of eggs at $5-12 dollars a dozen, a doubling and more in the price due to the bird flu. And he also has allowed cuts in programs that were studying the bird flu to solve it. I think those cuts were restored. But really! Cutting research on something so important!

I appreciate your caring about GAGsters, but we aren't facing dire shortages of the commodities that are being cited in that video. Unless items are coming from other countries, such as coffee or tea, U. S. commodities are doing fine except for eggs.
