Period or implantation bleeding?

So, my periods are usually heavy but this time it wasn’t. My period was very light pink and would barely cover a pad or tampon. My periods usually last 5-7 days, this time it lasted 2 days and the bleeding turned brown. I took a test and it was negative. Could it be implantation bleeding?

If you did a pregnancy test and it resulted to be negative, then you don't have any implantation bleeding. Having different period bleeding is not unusual but if you are insecure about the causes, you should contact your gynecologist or obstetrician that can reassure you about your condition.

What was the condition of your cramping? Was it the same as usual or light?

I would also look into alternative causes such as possible uterine infection that could be cause by endometritis, an inflammation of the lining of the uterus caused by bacteria or other microorganisms.

To be on the safe side, check with your care giver. If it is a one time occurrence, it is probably nothing to worry about.

Buy few pregnancy tests and make a test all two days.
Those test react to hCG that you body start to produce instantly after implantation. However those test needs a specific gCG amount in urine to react and this can take few days until pregnancy test show it.

It could be I would contact your physician. Sorry I don’t have X-ray vision to see up there. I wouldn’t worry too much about it just see your doctor.

It's less likely to be implantation bleeding if your negative test was taken after or around the time your period would normally have started.
