How do I function when I have anemia? How do I tell my parents that I can't go to school or work?

I have iron deficiency anemia and had to have iron infusions dozens of times already. I am now barely in the normal range and still feel lousy. I tried to apply for FMLA.

The best thing to do is increase your iron intake, red meat is a good source.
