Doctor vs Patient. Who has it harder?

Depends on what ailment the patient has. If it's an extreme ailment where the patient has to deal with a lot of pain and it could be fatal as well, then the patient has it harder.

If it's a cosmetic surgery or something that doesn't give the patient any discomfort, then the doctor definitely has it harder.

Well, when the doctor is out there driving a big, fancy car and playing golf and all the fun stuff doctors do and I'm laying there with a barf bag and a bed pan , I know which answer I'm going to chose.

I don't have a big car and I don't play golf in the most fun thing that I do is actually get to sleep through at night without being woken up at 3:00 or 4:00? A. m. to deal with somebody who has completely lost it and is about to hurt themselves or somebody else. Yes I know I signed up for this and I am not complaining. I'm pointing out to you that your view of how things go for us has no basis in reality.

I think Doctor!..

Patient has to Deal with Sickness occasionally as doctor gives them a cure..

Doctor has to see sick patients daily, and Risk Getting infected while curing them and also Risk carrying Guilt of Killing a patient if they do one wrong diagnostic or Wrong Treatment

Both have it difficult. Being a patient is difficult because after all, you are ill, and that is very unpleasant. Being a doctor is difficult because we have the responsibility of helping you to get better, and there is very little room for error at any time.

I would say the patient because he’s the one who would pay dearly for the mistakes that might be made


But the doctor is the one delegated to heal so the burden of success falls on him (or her)

Patients. Fortunately dental local anesthesia is today very efficient and block pain completely in 90% of cases, only few patients need nerve channel anesthesia (injection close to main nerve channel in back part of mouth cavity)

Well the patient is sick. Unless they're faking it. Doctors are under time pressure but that's all. They just look up your symptoms on the internet now.
