My contacts keep moving around, and I put drops in my eye as well. What can I do to help it?

I've worn contacts for about a year now with no problem. This new pack of contacts are suppose to be the same brand and same prescription. BUT I've had nothing but problems with them. Like the contact keeps moving around and making it so I can't see and I end up having to take the contact out. Also if I take the contact out it seems to make my eye all itchy and leaky. I don't know what's different? Any tips? ((( I am going to go get it checked by a doc just wanted some peoples opinions so don't say 'go to a doc' ))) THANKS>

I've experienced this A LOT I feel your pain lol. I have lead myself to the conclusion that this usually happens when the eyes are dry and not hydrated. So you need to find the right eyedrops and drink lots of water. Also you could have things in your eye that you don't see so no matter what your contacts won't feel right. A bad pack? It happens try using the next pack. Take the contacts out flush out your eyes and wear glasses the rest of the day. The contacts might just be really dry. Get some hardcore drops too that really flush your eyes out like one of these brands, contacts can be a real painful bitch you have take care of your eyes and what you expose them to. Hope this helps!

I'd double check the numbers on the box just to make sure they got the right prescription & shape. Also, if there is any variation to the brand at all I'd ask to switch back to the old brand as this one seems to be irritating your eyes.

I usually used Accuvue and then a Doc suggested to use Accuvue with (insert some fancy marketing name here) and they did nothing but mess with my eyes like you described.

I'm imagining there is something different from the last time you bought contacts, and if it isn't the brand, shape or prescription, then it could very well be a astigmatism or an alien living inside your eye.

you might have astigmatism. my contacts blurred and moved all the time and I had to press my inner eye, like the part closest to your nose to get rid of the annoyance but my optometrist told me I have astigmatism and now I just use one a days or 2 week contacts. it works well

Double check to make sure they're the right prescription. Also, are you using soft or RGP lenses?

There's some sort of recall that went unknown to the public. I think it was "Avaira Toric" contacts that had severe problems.
