How sick would you have to be?
I do not base my decision to see a doctor on how severe my problem is, I base it on whether their solution is better than mine.
When I thought I had fatty liver I learned through google that Canada does not recognize any medical treatments for fatty liver that they claim can cure the condition and I also concluded that the tests and turn around of results would take a very long time.
So instead of visiting a doctor, I visited Dr. Berg on google, and I might not be totally better now, but I reduced my supplement dosage by over 90% because my health has gotten better and I do not need so many to survive anymore.
People accuse me of being mentally ill when I talk about the things I did to get better so I won't go into details about my symptoms. But I know alternative medicine saved my life. My need for supplements decreased over 98% because my health improved.
No, it has to be something serious that I think won't just go away on its own. Once I had a bacterial infection and once I had an ulcer, and then once I had a very slight muscle tear, which turns out I went for no reason because there wasn't anything to do about that other than wait for it to heal. I didn't bother going when I had covid. I didn't really need anyone to tell me I had it.
I see a doctor when its something to unusual or to unbearable which is not often.
I feel mildly unwell every week pretty much on my down days, but its a known factor and always goes away after some rest no need to contact the doc for that.
I did have some oddities but I always try to see if they go away first before I consult a doctor. Which so far those always have.
I gut it out for several days and try to avoid being near others.

I have a check-up every six months. Apart from that, I rarely ever go to the doctor.
