I’ve been going to physical therapy for a couple weeks now. The physical therapist I don’t feel fond of. When I check in he has me start the exercises right away. I thought normally they place a heating pad on the area before they get started. I saw another therapist once last week because he was out and they automatically applied the heating pad. After that session they asked if I wanted ice pack or heat.
Fast forward to last Friday, I was back with the same therapist. He was working on two other patients besides me. When I got done with one exercise I had to wait for him because he was on his phone looking up a football player for another patient.

I forgot to add also when I had the other therapist I made appointment with them for this week trying to get away from him. I found out when I checked in that he changed it back to him.

The typical pattern for PT is gentle exercise to warm the muscles/area of treatment, possibly a heating pad, the treatment itself, cooldown exercises and possible stretches, cold packs.
Yes you have to have a very good match with your PT or it won't do any good. Keep changing until you find just the right one.
What if he says something like why did I switch?
Go to a different office
You think it would cause trouble if I switch to another therapist inside that office?
No but he might just switch you back
Yea you’re right. He did that before I think
Yes.
