I don't think either situation is really sustainable. Honestly if there is nothing then there's no point... why bother. If you feel everything you're on a permanent emotional rollercoaster. No relief. While feeling everything is likely to lead to insanity eventually, or learning to mitigate? Feeling nothing could easily lead to depression? Or could it. If you didn't feel... terrible uncaring acts against others? sure. Wouldn't you essentially be some sort of biological AI that merely calculates and acts? Wouldn't be a sociopath as that would require feeling as well. For the mental health of the individual perhaps feeling nothing, but that could lead to great harm in the community even if unintended. I suppose I'd choose feeling as the option as you're not really human without it.
probably the first... as they might do harm and hurt others without remorse or consideration whatsoever
As someone who feels everything... I'd say feeling nothing. As overwhelming as feeling everything can be, I'd rather experience all the emotions, even the painful ones than feel completely numb. Feeling things deeply means you also get to experience love, happiness and all those little moments that make life worth living. Even the bad experiences have something to teach us, lol. Feeling nothing just seems hollow to me, like you're disconnected from yourself and the people around you...
I'm unemotional.
Most people think being unemotional is a strenght, but I tell you it's awful.
I'd rather feel everything intensely.
I have basic emotions (for example, I feel happy when I'm practising my hobby and I can feel angry if someone disrespects me), but I'm unable to feel complex emotions or any emotion at all in most life situations.
No, I was different and emotional until my high school years. But I feel my brain has completely changed, it's not a phase.

I think feeling nothing is worse in the long run. Feeling everything can be exhausting, but at least you know you're alive and connected to the world. Feeling nothing sounds peaceful until you realize you can't feel joy, love, or excitement either. I'd rather learn to manage my emotions than lose the ability to feel them. ❤️
Feeling everything is worse. Feeling nothing is just meh. I know this stuff because if I don't take my meds I feel too much.
Feeling everything 100%
Feeling everything.
