Jessica Simpson and Weight Watchers?

Have you ever tried Weight Watchers, or any similar programs? I am just wondering what an everyday person's experience is like, and if they found it difficult, doable, unrealistic, etc.?

No, I don't diet, because it's actually not that good for your body. Allow me to explain, haha.

The thing about Weight-Watchers and many other diet programs is, very few people stick with it for life. They enter it with a certain goal weight they want to achieve, and once they lose that amount of weight (IF they do), they quit. Then they act all surprised when they gain the weight back. Of course, a temporary solution leads to a temporary outcome.

Plus, diets are all about the number on the scale and not about your actual health. Focusing on the wrong thing is profoundly irresponsible.

I suggest that you make healthy *lifestyle* changes, things you're going to do for the rest of your life and maybe even ENJOY them. Better eating habits benefit you in so many other ways besides weight. Take care of your body and it'll reward you by keeping you healthy and making you feel great.

Weight Watchers is a realistic, safe weightloss program that helps you lose weight in healthy increments. 1/2 to 2 lbs a week. It is helping obese, overweight, or just bad eaters control their bad eating habits and and transition into healthy living.The reason so many people are turning to WW is because of the meetings. I mean if you cannot afford WW there is Livestrong and Calorie Count, but the support of others is what gets people to invest in WW. Dieting and Losing weight is HARD, and the motivation and the meetings helps people get over that.

That is absolutely stupid that people say crap on here like just follow a normal diet at home don't believe in those programs. Millions of people are grateful for WW because it is saving lives! It is HARD losing weight do whatever you like, hunger cravings are b***h! Honestly you may lose faster with WW then doing this alone.

Don't listen to any naysayers.

Everybody is different. There is no diet that works for everyone.

The key is knowing what foods are good, what foods to avoid, and getting in a decent amount of exercise. If you eat MOSTLY healthy food, and do at least SOME intense workouts every day, you will lose weight. Also, control portions. Don't pig out like you're at a buffet.

If you follow those simple guidelines, you will lose weight. Maybe it won't be as fast as someone who is serious about changing their life (like me, for example) but you won't get any bigger.

Weight Watchers is great. You get daily support, they the correct food with the right number of calories, and they don't demand strict adherencee to the regimen.. They are realistic about people occasionally wanting freedom to enjoy whatever they crave.

You won't lose weight that quickly but you won't be starving yourself and sufferng hunger p[angs, either, and if you stick to their plan you'll loe whatever amount you want to lose and you'll have help in keeping it offf

what's jessica got to do with that and I find that I like my friend to weigh me as I loose weight because she will push me further along and it doesn't cost me anything but I did go to weight watchers and found they expected too much off me for the month I went

Weight Watchers is actually one of the better rated diet plans. I tried it and lost 30 pounds. But like all diets, you have to make a committment in the long run to a lifestyle change for any of them to work. Otherwise don't bother.

Don't believe in these diet programs. The best diet is to eat correctly and 3 times per day. Eat more natural food + vegetables, fruits etc and do sport ;)

My mom did it , she lost quite a lot ( about 10 kg's I think ) and she is "stable" :p

thing is you can still eat a lot , and you are not hungry like in diets ...

so I would reccomend it :D

No need. Read "Fit for Life" by Harvey Diamond. It requires no specially made food. I lost 85lbs on it.
