I have a cold however only in one nostril?! this isn't normal is it?

it doesn't even switch over to the other nostril, only one of them has the cold the other one is perfectly fine.

i also had a sore throat.

what's wrong with me? I just had a flu jab too!

i have a heart condition too..

you can't have a cold in one part of your body. its cause by the rhino virus, which multiplies through bacteria and lives all over your sinuses, what you have is something more than likely caused by the flew shot. flew shots inject you with a weakened or dead flew virus which allows your body to create antibodies in order to counter any future contact with the flew virus, it will take a couple days for the antibodies to multiply and kick in but your fine.

It's not uncommon to get a cold after a flu jab . Supposedly your body is more susceptible to cold germs whilst it's dealing with the flu jab. Also supposedly the one nostril thing is because you only sleep on one side so all the mucous drains on to that side of your nose.

perfectly normal to have it only on one side when the other is able to breathe normally ( if you switch your head in your bed from position , you can sometimes feel it change :p

The flu shot can create those symptoms as your body's defense mechanisms get revved up.
