Well... All a period is, is the melting away of the tissue that forms around the egg to create a healthy and encouraging environment for the fetus to grow.. I suppose if you don't get your periods then that tissue isn't growing, thus no ovulation? I mean... Ovulation just means the egg has entered the uterus or something like that, which can still happen but if there isn't tissue growing to help support life if the egg is fertilized then who knows. I would do some research on google or talk to your doctor.

Yes, I believe it is possible to ovulate even though you don't get a period.
However, infertility is quite common among women with PCOS. If you're actively trying to get pregnant, you should consult your doctor for advice.

yes you can ovulate and not have an actual period. I didn't think it was possible but my doctor informed me that you still ovulate even if you don't see a period...the egg still does what it needs to
i think so, because I have heard of women who were athletes and didn't get a period for months but somehow got pregnant in that time frame (they were married women so weren't concerned about it)
