Is that old quote still relevant today?
My grandma once said that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach.
Is that old quote still relevant today?
I'd think it'd be relevant for all time.
Men like women who are nurturing ( go figure? lol) - making food and such is just a way to be nurturing.
Now it's not like a huge determining factor this day and age - guys understand women have their own endeavors outside the home, and how to pick up a frying pan and make himself something to eat -
But I think just cooking in general for anyone else is a sweet / loving thing to do.
So I suppose anyone's heart can be obtained through one euphoric ontray...
Thanks for BA ;D
YES it's still true and it's always going to be true. My man complains that I don't cook enough, and when I do he can't get enough of it. My man is kinda old fashion and expects after a lon day of hard work for their to be a home cooked meal when he gets home. It's like the thing that makes a girl a dream girl. ANy girl can f*** a guy, give him blow jobs, and clean, but not all girls can do all that and cook
Maybe it should be modified to one of the ways to a man's heart is through his stomach. I would not decided to not date a girl because she could not cook. However, it is just one of those things at the beginning of dating someone, that makes you think, wow that person actually took the time to cook me this meal. That being said maybe one of the the ways to woman's heart is also through her stomach.
maybe a bit relevant. Only in that food and eating is a social part of most cultures. Why is a romantic dinner so special. And if you cook it. mmmmm. But now many guys are good cooks as well. so maybe it works both ways. One of the hottest things a girl can do on a dinner date is put food in my mouth. hard to explain.

Not in my opinion. I know how to cook well. I think she should know how to at least cook somethings, but I'm not looking for her to cook for me all the time. Cooking is an art. One night I create a concoction that we share in, another night she does. We share in each others talents and enjoy each others creations. That's a nice idea to me. I'm not looking for a live in chef, and in no way would that hook me.
Absolutely. I'm a pretty successful guy, good looking and overall nice guy. But if the right girl could cook and give me blowjobs all day and generally loved me - she'd probably win me over. Even if she was moderately or arguably unattractive by some folks.
I don't necessarily agree.I don't really fancy cooking,and so far it hasn't hurt my dating life so,i don't think it's THAT relavant.But that's just my opinion.
well note exactly that was based on quite a few sexist views but in truth if a girl I was dating cooked for me I would be happy but not for that taste but because she cares
Being a great cook would certainly be a plus, but the attraction and everything else has to be there too...
Honestly no, I disagree. If you think the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, you're aiming about a foot too high. . .
i think being able to cook well is an asset, not necessarily an automatic "in"
Yes! Girls who make delicious things are way more attractive. Also baking does it for me.
True. Maybe me something homemade and I'll say yes to any of your demands :p
id say its more relevant today seeing less women know how to cook and all
I'd say it's a great asset when it comes to dating.
I ain't gonna let a girl anywhere around my stomach
Eh the quickest way is through his ribcage.
Feed him and he'll love you forever
Oh yeah I love to eat and love girls that can cook
Who wouldn't want food cooked for them :)
I F***ING LOVE BACON
Meh...men suck
