I'm not sure how fast you'll lose weight, but, just a few comments:
1. Are you eating enough? Try counting your calories for a day. As a woman, you shouldn't be eating any less than 1200 calories a day (and even that might be on the low side, depending on how much you weigh---bigger people need more calories, even if they're losing weight). Often people make the mistake of cutting their calories too low---but your body needs calories for energy in order to sustain itself, and a very low calorie diet isn't very sustainable in the long-term.
2. Carbs aren't the enemy. Yes, you will lose weight by eating low-carb, but it isn't a very healthy way to do it. Your body needs carbs----but instead of eating refined/simple carbohydrates, choose complex carbohydates. They're good for you---they're harder for your body to break down, and they help keep you feeling full. Examples are things like whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, brown rice, oats, barley, beans, and fruits and vegetables.

If the healthy eating and exercise is kind of a new introduction, you'll probably lose a lot of weight at first and then it will usually slow down to a healthy weight loss of 1-3 pounds a week. After a while if you're losing more than that you're probably not eating enough, and while it feels awesome to lose weight fast, it's been proven that people who lose the weight slowly tend to keep it off longer because it's due to more of a lifestyle change than a "diet" that you might stop following once you get to your goal. Good luck! You definitely sound like you're on the right track :)
