Can aloe vera help lose weight? Any suggestions on it or weight loss ?ive been trying to lose weight.

DON'T TAKE SUPPLEMENTS NO MATTER HOW SAFE YOU ARE TOLD THEY ARE. I ve never heard of aleo vera causing weight loss. I've been on ever type of diet you can ask for. then I fuinally stopped trying to take the easy road and did calories in calories out I was 186 dropped down to 128 in 3 months no stretch marks ate more fiber and exercised at first just walking I stayed down then I started taking birth control on and muching 143lbs and been steady.

I went on a salad and cupcake and green tea supplement diet lost 25lbs in less than a month month then got off it.. I went from 119 - 186 in a matter of 4 months body stored fat then my digestive tracts been messed up ever since. body stored fat like crazy

I also went on a Quaker bar and water diet at one point got down to 125 from 146 then I gained my weight back and stayed steady.

thats a small about of diets I went threw but I'm done with them except the gym, makes me feel better. My gym is to far atm. :(

yep my friend did the green tea supplement diet in a healthier way than me and we have the same problem with gas pains after it.

It depends on the supplement and what it's purpose is. I take all kinds of herbal supplements to stay healthy and support my immune system, and I haven't experienced any problems from them. But weight loss is a complicated thing. I don't doubt that diets revolving around cupcakes and Quaker bars would be unsuccessful.

ya. those are just my quick ones. but I've been on a ton. the quaker bar wasn't to bad b.c I didn't gain double. and the other one was salad and I had to throw chocolate in there because I get really bad cravings for it and I being eat it when I don't get it. supplements for weight loss we are not speaking about vitamins. those are all bad

eat breakfast cereal ( any general mills) in the morning EVERY morning eat in portions get SILK milk unsweetened taste same as regular milk . Get snack bars that have fiber/ whole grain in them... go to the deli get your sandwich meat and for better flavor get (whole grain flat bred) its a little costly but $3.77 here for 8 pieces only 100 calories for both. snack whatever under 250 calories. if its something like chocolate or something and your like me and binge eat it when you don't get it then make sure its in there. eat dinner in portion... go on mile long walk or more.. first start working on legs in gym and things will feel a lot easier if gym walk on incline and with a little speed

Ah, a common issue.

To overcome this I just use a meal-replacement shake. Fills me up nice and good. Used to make them at home, but I decided to buy some powder based mixers for time efficiency.

It's a healthy food, helps with digestion. It won't help much with weight loss, though, for that you need to have a healthy low calorie diet and exercise!

Cut out all sodas and sugary drinks from your diet. Only drink water if you can help it.

Don't go out to eat. Cook your own meals at home with minimal processed foods, and try not to eat foods that come out of boxes. There are tons of healthy recipes online if you search for them.

Get a gym membership or do some kind of intense workout like P90X or Insanity. Working out only a couple times a week with minimal effort won't do any good as you'll be cheating nobody but yourself. You'll need to commit.

Basically I'm telling you to lose the weight the healthy way.

Its healthy, but won't help you lose weight. Try taking green tea supplements and multivitamins a long with exercising and eating a healthy and balanced diet. If you need specifications for workouts or what to eat let me know.

Lol no, its green tea... That's like saying water is bad for you. You must have been starving yourself or taking other pills (diet pills). Also, diet green tea pills are NOT the same as green tea supplements. Green tea supplements are vitamins.

Lol no. You were taking green tea diet pills, those are diet pills just with green tea added in. The green tea supplements are basically just green tea in a capsule, they're 100% natural... just like green tea.

Aloe vera is extremely healthy both topically and when consumed, but I've never heard that it helps with weight loss.

Eat plenty of whole grains, fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and "good fats" (from avocados, olive oil, fish, etc). Plain nuts are a healthy snack. Avoid processed foods, and limit sugars and white starch. Watch out for sugary cereals and snack bars, which can sneak in more calories than they're worth. Be wise about portion sizes. Moderation is key.

Birth control can also cause weight gain. It depends on how your body reacts to the specific type you're using. I would NOT suggest using birth control specifically as a weight loss strategy, because it sends your body on a hormonal roller coaster and can affect more than just your weight.

Not necessarily. She could try it and find that she gets the opposite results from what she wants. She might have to try multiple types until she finds one that works, which will take months or even years, since it takes a few months for the pill to take it's full effects. Plus, relying on the pill means that she will be dependent on it to maintain her desired weight, which hardly seems like an ideal situation. Basically, it could work, but it's not the healthiest or most efficient method.
