Info about getting your period
Thanks!
Do you get your period regularly? When I was in middle school/high school it was never regular but my mom always told me that it's normal for it to be irregular (in the first year after getting your period) but it never did, and in fact, sometimes I'd go months without getting a period then all of the sudden have the most monstrous period from your worst nightmares. It turns out I actually had a legit health issue. I was put on birth control to regulate my hormones and I now have regular, light periods that last barely four days. So, if your period isn't behaving normally or is super heavy, I would tell your family doctor just in case.
Sorry, *normal for it to be irregular and then eventually become regular
Mine were awful, I had a vitamin deficiency so I used to bleed for 3 weeks and then not get another period for 3 months or so. Birth control completely sorts it out. See the way birth control works, it doesn't control your period it cancels out your natural period and creates its own period if you get me?
I'd go straight for birth control, its sorts out your skin, periods and its obviously a contraceptive.
Thanks, sounds good.

mine are always 32-35 days apart I know this because I record mine on an online calendar there's lots of websites you can record your period on..and it texts your phone letting you know when your period is coming...and after using the website for many years now you see a pattern of when you get it, and mine are always on time usually the only time it came late was when I was stressed or depressed or worked out too much
the first unofficial day I have some spotting usually, then the 2nd and 3rd day are the heaviest I change my pads every 2-3 hrs they get soaked...and cramps are unbearable, then 4th and 5th day its not so bad the blood is significantly less...it kinda smells down there though because well..blood is decaying..but I shower morning and night...
My periods have always been irregular. They come at the same time of the month, granted, but one month it can be really heavy, and the month after very light. I don't know why. And I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with me...at least not that I can tell. Always last a week.
Thanks
Make sure your pads are well used before changing them. Changing them 6-7 is a lot.. I usually only use 4/5 pads a day? Well maybe your flow is heavier..
Even when my flow is heavy I still use around 4/5.
When I first got my period it was the same. It lasted me about 7 days until it was completely gone, but now my period only lasts me about 5 days.
Most women will have it for 4-7 days. You don't really ever stop bleeding during that time. The first couple of days are always the heaviest. Birth control just regulates it and generally people that get it irregularly are the ones that can consider it as a solution so that it's not as irregular.
Thanks!
my periods were really heavy when I first got it, I had no warning signs either. I was 12.
But I'm 20 now, and my flow is extremely light. Different people bleed a different amount.
Do they last for more than one day?
I'm sorry this sounds like a troll. But they generally last 5-7 days
It's not a troll. You can look at my other questions, they're not trolls either.
You must be young then.
But there's nothing you can do to get rid of periods. Sorry dear :(
Ur 1st year probably is going to be irregular so don't worry if you skip a month or are a day/week late.my 1st wasn't heavy so I didn't use a lot of pads but sometimes its better to use a overnight one.
