What could be the Cause of my acne?

okay so

- I am eating how I normally do, I barely eat any sugar because I have a sugar intolerance.

- I am not on any form of birth control

- I didn't switch any products that I use on my face

- I always wash off my makeup at night

and

-its been bad at all times of the month, not just near my period which is when I normally get more acne

what could cause this acne!?!?

It could be a lot of things; stress, makeup in general especially if you're using a lot/heavy foundation, dehydration. A lot of people don't know that acne can actually be in your genetic makeup. If that's the case then its difficult to get rid of especially without a doctor's help. Go to a dermatologist and see what they think.

i used to have perfectly clear skin and no adults in my family suffer from acne so I don't think its genetic :/ could be one of the others though, thanks :)

It could be hormones or maybe you touch your face a lot?

Do you have oily skin? Dry skin? I would go into someplace like Ulta or the makeup counter at Clinique and get skin care advice so you can get skin care that is more directed at your skin.

i have normal skin, not oily or dry. I don't know why my hormones would just randomly cause acne, when they usually don't but maybe I touch my face a lot without noticeing. thanks for the input :)

stress, wearing makeup, not drinking enough water, etc.

stop wearing all that makeup and go to your doctor...
