Losing 10 pounds in 4 weeks might be possible. 7-8 pounds is more likely. It will require diet and exercise and no cheating on either.
Diet: 1200-1300 calories / day consisting of lean protein (chicken, fish), veggies and fruits. Typical day: Breakfast = Kashi or Multigrain Cheerios + 1% milk + blueberries; Lunch = salds with lots of veggies + a little low cal dressing; Dinner = fish or chicken (6-8 ounces) and steamed or stir fried veggies. You can switch the the lunch and dinner if you want. Also suggest one piece of fruit late morning and steamed / stir fried / raw veggies late afternoon.
Exercise: Gym / running / walking for an hour to an hour and a half per day. I prefer walking which I do everyday (4 miles).
Losing weight is probably 70% diet and 30% exercise. If you stayon a diet and exercise 6 days a week, you could lose the weight in 4 weeks. Best of Luck!

You can lose maybe 5 lbs of real wieght in a month if you give up desserts and eat mostly frut and vegetables, with minimal protein, for the next month. Working out a lot might get you closer to ten if you stick to a diet, although youl need a little more protein if you're working out.
when I got a retail job I ended up losing a lot of weight, which shows that constantly working out/staying active on your feet but not doing anything extreme slims you down...like at work I'm not at the gym lifting machines for 8 hrs but rather walking a lot cashiering bagging stuff always moving! if you keep working out at low intensity you will lose a lot of weight...like walk, do yoga, light exercises, go for a swim, play a sport and stay away from junk food
