Do energy drinks seriously help stay awake or is it just a myth?

I don't do drinks or power naps, and I've never
had trouble staying awake, but I never required
much sleep anyway (3-4hours is enough for me)
but If I do get tired when I need to stay awake, I'll
listen to some good music <3
are you familar with meditation?
if you do it right, you can trick the body into thinking
it has reached the deepest sleep, it'll leave you
fully awake and ready for anything, when you're finished.
I know power naps works as well, but it isn't
as effective as meditation, but it's easier. <3
Kind of. They have tons of sugar and caffeine, which keeps you awake and alert for a very short while, but then you get an insulin spike from the sugar and you crash with a jittery caffeine headache.
Pro-tip: Get diagnosed with ADHD, after 3 months tell your doctor that Ritalin doesn't work for you, and that you want Dexedrine (d-amphetamine ).
well I just drank sugar free red bull. I've taken 5 hr energy before as well. the funny thing is if I'm deliberately taking a nap, I sleep much longer and through my alarm when takiing 5 hr energy and probably with redbull as well. lol
they help you stay alert but I don't think they can stop you from sleeping.
It really depends on the person. Energy drinks do nothing for me, but my friend goes into extreame hyper mode if she has even a little bit.

I have a lot of experience with energy drinks and the amount of caffeine and other energy ingredients will keep you up.
However, energy drinks give you a sugar rush that you will crash from and make you feel really tired.
Basically they make you really tired, but don't let you sleep.
The only thing that's ever helped keep me awake was an entire 2-liter bottle of Mountain Dew, and that was years ago on New Year's Eve. Caffeine in general doesn't have much of an effect on me anymore.
I should add - I've tried energy drinks/energy shots a few times, but they never worked for me. They either made no change or made me more tired. :/

Energy drinks never gave me any "boost" anything what contains caffeine makes me veeery sleepy and tired.
Well for me it can only keep me awake for so long but then I crash
how long?
maybe an hour tops.
