What food habits and exercises did you do in order to lose weight?

I was over 300 lbs (313) in 1997/98. In those times, and in 2002/03, wen I was 285-290, I lifted w8s, ran, did lotsa good eating (I was a vegan then also)... eat whole food- simple sugars and processed foods will keep you fat. Also, try a good colon cleanser to flush the excess w8 out. I am doing it- it's amazing what you got on the inside. As for workouts, you can target what you wanna have (toned arms, nice stomach, etc)... if ya wanna eat, eat 3-5 times a day. Also try a good protein shake- EAS makes some real good ones. Any other queations, you can always holler at me for it...
When I give birth to my baby and heal up I will be hitting the gym to exercise my buns off (at least three times a week of aerobic exercise), lift some weights (to tone up) every other work out day and eat well. I will do different exercises (biking, swimming, elipticals, treadmills) and pair it off with some raw veggies, special K cereal and a lean but good tasting dinner. :)
running is a good start, but you need to do more then just cardio, and drinking tons of water will help flush out you system
Thanks for the advice but what other exercises would you do other than cardio (weight lifting)?
Weight lifting is good, but try other core excersies that combine cardio and resistence work

Running is one of the best things you can do to loose weight. I try to run a mile at least 3 times a week. Whenever there is a low fat alternative to what you are eating make sure to eat it instead. Eating vegetables and fruits is very important. I don't eat fast food at all. It is horrible for you. Usually the more processed something is the less nutritional value it has. Read the nutritional label and figure out how many calories what you are eating has in it.
Unless you're morbidly obese, don't worry about it!
Stressing over that little thing doesn't help!
