How often should I contact her?

I like this girl see. But I don't see her a whole lot. For various reasons our main mode of contact is e-mail. My question is. About how often can I send a "hey whatcha doing let's chat" e-mail?

I don't want to come off desperate. But honestly if she wanted me to I'd send something every day.

I don't really think I can gauge it based off of her responses. because in my experience girls don't respond consistently anyway.

She's not dating anybody. And we are close friends. I'm just seeking to build the relationship a bit more

At first try once a week. Sending sth every day is not gonna work, so don't do it, trust me on this one :) . And yeah on occasion is a good idea, like have a reason behind the message.

Be a man and express opinions on various topics baldly, especially if they differ from hers. Confidence is good and a little arguing will put some spark in there :)

Be yourself, do not lie to her and do not exaggerate things. Most importantly don't whine or complain about anything cause it makes you look like a little bitch.

These are the more important things I can think of right now, but more will probably pop up in my brain later :D

Yeah, I know what you mean. Just message her on occasion, and by the enthusiasm or detail in her responses it'll let you know if you can maybe take it further.

I recently started texting with a girl who actually asked me first if we could text. I told her yes, and now she's the one who doesn't even really text me much! Lol!
