How do I tell her to lose weight?

So I work at Abercrombie & Fitch and along with working in store, I'm expected to let all the new workers know about the new routines etc. Yesterday my boss told me that if one of the new girls keeps gaining weight then she'll be fired. How am I supposed to tell her that she's getting too big? I don't want to hurt her feelings

wow that's like total discrimination in the work place. lawsuit anybody? I'd check with headquarters about their policy on weight (gain) with employees. and then go from there. you're boss sounds like a jerk to ask you to tell her to lose weight when he should have the discussion with her if he's concerned about her health. take care ok?

Ask her how she works out and when she says that she doesn't just say that she should because employees need to project the best possible image. Or you can sue your boss cause he isn't allowed to discriminate based in weight.
