I like footballers and my boyfriend doesn't want to play it?

Because my boyfriend plays it everyday and he says that it's sport..

I think sport could be real football, volleyball, running, swimming.. anything else but this

How to stop him playing this stupid game and make him to real sport? football for example like real man?

Foosball is just a hobby like football is. It doesn't make him any less of a man for not playing football. It's not nice of you to want to change him and not appreciate/respect what interests him. If you want a footballer, find one. If you don't want to leave this guy, then accept and love him for who he is. Don't change him.

but he plays it everyday, and he won't do any other sports. Like I ask him to go swim with me, or at least play badminton.. anything , but he won't do any sports, he just sits, he won't even dance. And this game is not sport..

He's clearly not an active person who's not into sports. If it bothers you that much, then you should find someone who is active all the time. If not, you need to speak to him and ask for him to go out and do things with you more often. I didn't say foosball was a sport either.

well yes it's because I'm active person, I like to do sports, and seeing him sitting at home all days or playing this stupid game and calling it sport makes me angry.. but I can't change him , don't know if it's a reason to break up anyway

If his personality angers you, find someone who fits your personality better. Obviously sports and being active is a big thing to you so you need to find someone who has the same values.

u can't make him do anything,but if you don't like it,find someone who plays real sports or better yet, tell him you are going to watch real men playing sports and go to a game

You're trying to change him...it won't work. It's like when your parents tell you to do something and you don't do it or you do the complete opposite. Either accept who he is...like he has probably accepted you and your faults, or break up. But, seems like a silly reason though.

Why should he give up something he enjoys and do something he hates, just so that he fits this image of what you think a guy should be? If a guy had this problem with a girl, he would be torn apart on this site, for being too controlling.

I can understand if the reason you are upset, is that he isn't making time for you because of this game. But you keep making it sound like you have this picture in your head of what the perfect guy is, and unless that guy plays sports he won't be the type of man you want. So you want to change him into something he is not. The only way to change a man, is to break his spirit, but then you wouldn't want him. What a person's personal hobbies are shouldn't bother you so much.

Why does it make you angry? It isn't your life, it is his. Lots of people think sports are stupid. How would you like to be criticized for liking sports by a guy, and be manipulated into staying inside all the time? That is what you are trying to do to him. It isn't that Foosball is a stupid game, its just isn't a hobby that you approve of. You have an image of what you think a man should be, and are very intolerant of any guy that doesn't conform to that image.

It seems that he can't play well in real that's why he prefers the game version.
