Girls, a guy not liking football a turn off?

I would say I don't like football. I don't go to games, or paint myself get drunk and go crazy. I don't yell my head off about FFOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTBAAALLLLLLLLLLLL!

Not saying I don't like all sports, I like to watch Soccer, and play soccer. Football is just boring because you run 10 yards, stop, run 5 yards stop. Maybe 50 yards then stop. You get into the action, and then stop again. What's the point?

So is a guy not liking football a turn off? Does it say he's less masculine? Just wondering because not a lot of guys don't like football.

I'd rather watch my own toe fester and decay than watch even so much as 1/4 of a football game, or any other sport for that matter. When I was younger, I loved playing most sports, but never had any inclination to watch others do the same. I would derive no pleasure from watching my accountant prepare my tax forms, nor would I find any entertainment value in watching someone else repair my car. As with any voyeuristic activity, my time is better spent in doing things that allow me to actually do things.

That's ridiculous. Sure there are probably a couple of super hardcore sports fans who would be turned off by you not liking football, but anyone even remotely sane wouldn't make that a large enough priority for it to be considered a turnoff.

I really couldn't care less, haha. I'm not a big sports fan myself (though I can watch it and appreciate it). Not everyone is into the same thing; it's what makes people unique and interesting. I'm sure you have a lot better things going for you. If I had to choose, I'd rather have a guy who is kind and intelligent than a guy whose main passion in life is football. Don't worry about it.

But I would hope that the guy would accompany me to some games when I wanted to go!

...And let me watch Hockey Night In Canada and my team's games when there on without complaining :)

A guy not liking football is not a turn off at all. I don't think that it pertains to his masculinity at all. To each their own. I'm not a big football fan myself. Don't worry about it.

I would say that for me and probably most girls, that they don't not like a guy because he doesn't like a certain sport, in your case football. I think that it's a pretty lame sport myself :)

No it's not a turn off, I don't like football either. I just go to hang with friends.
