Is silver actually a boring color?

All my friends say silver isn't worth buying on a car. I think it looks fine tho. Maybe not on a super car but for a Camry it looks clean

Why would a silver colored car not be worth buying? Or less attractive , the fact that cars are offered in this color must at least mean it’s popular , desirable ? can't wrap my head around that.


Each to their own, color choice is purely subjective taste and so easily changed or selected against and such an arbitrary factor when choosing a car for the majority of mass market production cars. Economy , affordability , reliability , comfort , safety , these generally speaking are all weighted more important.

Yes. However its the most sold colour of car.

And german police has actually changed the colours from white to silver as silver cars are easier to sell in the used car market.

But its boring, it just looks like they forgot to paint it. But thats just my opinion.

I mean, you see it at every corner. 80% of Mercedeses are silver, the rest is black or white. Hardly exciting. 🤷‍♂️
