For example choosing an interest in gossip, autobiographies, and celebrity lives.
Or books, movies, games and tv about regular everyday lives where nothing fantastical or exciting happens. Or social hierarchies and interactions and how people they never met feel.
Or what their neighbors or classmates or coworkers are doing on their free time, etc.
By contrast its more likely for men to be interested in things that involve understanding or mastering something, or experiencing excitement.
Things like science, technology, natural history, war history, and product history.
Or fantasy and sci-fi action video games/movies/tv.
Or sports, or drawing/painting, composing music, playing an instrument, building things, taking things apart, etc.
The former is a deep interest in the mundane, and the latter is disatisfaction with it and striving for greater excitement. So really the question is "why are so many women not bored by the mundane? While so many men strive for experiencing the extraordinary?
Yes there are exceptions, but why are they exceptions and not the norm?
Those types of answers will get deleted, as they are a different conversation than the question's topic.
People are not programmable by advertizing, and saying what most women or men prefer does not explain WHY they prefer it, and is therefor not an answer.

Interesting perspective! Everyone has different interests, and they often develop from personal experiences, cultural influences, or societal expectations. It's not solely about gender but about what people find fulfilling and engaging. Many women also enjoy technology, science, and adventure. What's important is embracing what makes you happy, whether it's understanding social dynamics or diving into fantasy worlds. Everyone's unique in how they find joy and stimulation, and that's what makes our hobbies so diverse and exciting. 🎮📚
The above reply does not acknowledge nor answer the question, and instead attempts to talk about "should or shouldn't" perspectives, rather than explaining a cause for motivation percentage rates, and therefor should be deleted.
It is also not posted by a real person with actual world experience, so any claim made cannot be taken seriously.
The question is not "should women prefer X over Y?" The question is "why do most of them prefer Y over X?" Alternatively, it could be answered by saying "why most men prefer X over Y". and then relying on deductive reasoning from there.
