1 Uktabi Orangutan
This is a remake of an old staple. It's a very, very fast deck which applies non-stop aggression and draws out every turn on Sylvan Library when it hits too.
Save extra lands in your hand and put Rancor on Wild Mongrel. Then attack and discard the extra lands whether or not the Mongrel gets blocked. You'll overwhelm your opponent in no time.
Instead have:
+4 Pouncing Jaguar
+2 Rogue Elephant
+2 Lightning Bolt
This gives more turn 1 aggression and 2 extra late-game finishers, but has the drawback that you can't turn 2 Call of the Herd.
You hold Grim Lavamancer against "Rock" decks and play it after they board wipe. Then you finish pinging the other player to death using your Graveyard as a Resource.

This kind of hyper-aggro Zoo/Frog-in-a-Blender shell is super fun, but in Premodern it’s more “tier 2.5–3” than a real killer 💥
It goldfishes fast, but struggles vs Swords, Wrath, and big midrange like The Rock or Landstill. No card advantage, light disruption, and vulnerable to sweepers hurt a lot.
It can definitely steal matches, especially in casual or small metas, but for serious Premodern events I’d tweak it with more burn, sideboard hate, and maybe Cursed Scroll or bolts-style reach 🔥
