I have been listening to Christmas music from everyone from Paul McCartney to Bruce Springsteen. McCartney is 80 and so is Mick Jagger. Jerry Lee Lewis was 85 when he died last October. It is hard for me to believe that Elvis really died at age 42. There were numerous Elvis sightings in the years after his supposed death. I just wonder if he just got tired of being Elvis and just decided to live a quiet life in Cleveland.

I mean at least he must of got abducted by aliens who obviously wanted to do that anal probe they always do, cause apparently that is the best part of humans to examine, so maybe they cleaned him out first.
Then returned him and he was just too embarrassed that it required aliens to clear up that problem.
Elvis has left the building!!! I saw a documentary about it. I believe it too. He was very constipated and backed up pretty bad for a long time. He was sitting on the toilet trying to go and pushing so hard, he fell off the toilet and fell onto the bathroom floor, and just layed there. That's where he died.

Yep he’s alive. He’s been living/ hiding in my basement all these years😅🤣
He was stressed out from the "famous" lifestyle. He couldn't really live the life that he likely would have been more comfortable for him. Imagine, being one of the most famous people in the world by the time he was 23.
Probably- but even if he didn't, it was almost fifty years ago; one way or another, he's gone now.
Or in hiding with Andy Kaufman. One of the two.
He was a generous guy but his drugs and alcohol was more than he could handle. It’s sad he left before solving his issues.

yea, he'd effectively neglected himself to death. He'd gone through a lot that would have hit him hard... moms death, divorce (4 years prior), pressures of performing. Where would his emotional support be? He was a considerate young man, wrong person to be on stage like that for decades, wrong personality without a lot of spiritual grounding. That lead to drugs, messing with multiple women at a time (violation of his values), god knows what. martial arts helped but couldn't save him.
When you're the king, it's a long ways to fall. Maralynn Monroe be another that likely feel in similar folly.
I liked Elvis as a person and personality, for what it's worth, would have been a good guy to know in the early days.

He could just of retired stayed low for a little while and eventually people back away out of site out of mind. Plenty of famous celebs do that.
They don't fake kill themselves.

He actually works at a fast food place as a greeter near my home.
He's alive. He works as an Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas.

You might be too young to remember, but, yes, he did. I remember because it was a Saturday with my grandparents over our house to celebrate my grandfather's 73rd birthday.
Not that I know of, that's when he started MAKING records!! Watching The Detectives, Angels Wanna Wear My Red Shoes, Alison, My Aim Is True, etc..
