I've been seriously thinking of doing some sort of charity work or donation because I have plenty and I've been homeless before. I saw an add that said "If you have a coat you don't think of it much but if you don't have a coat you think of it constantly".

Well, I don't suppose his gas comes any cheaper than anyone else's so, I never ask him more than twice a month unless it's a dire need. He has to drive 4 miles to come get me, another 10 or so to go where I need to go and another 4 to go back home. I try to offer him ways to pay him back at least SOME of it but, he refuses. He's retired and his wife is going through chemo, for some reason, and I have to scrape together every penny I've got to pay back the mortgage on the house that my aunt took out 3 weeks before she died (to give to her scammer buddies!) to keep from losing this house, too. So, things are tight for both of us.
