What holiday family drama are you dreading this year? How do relatives push your buttons during Christmas holidays?

Older sister and always about me. I'm like the younger version of her so he always stare at me then she feels I'm flashing him or I'm dressed inappropriately when im like in a normal one piece bikini. This year I'm gonna get naked if she says anything

I have no relatives living so by default none. I spends the days with my friends and selected members of their families in order to limit drama. And I have zero problem not inviting those who cause problems.

my parents stopped inviting their relatives a decade ago, and they stopped inviting us, its just too much work and exhaustion (and of course expensive), so its just me, my brother and my parents every year

No dramas. Most of my family lives interstate or overseas. All I have to do is post gifts interstate, a few weeks before Christmas; and a few times a year. The same with my boyfriend’s family.

@DermalPunch Most from the immediate family are dead, some are assholes I want nothing to do with anymore, some just don't bother with me. As for friends, they a live too far away to come see me or vice versa.

@DermalPunch I've gone over to Laura's a couple times, she avoids me. I've gone over to talk to Carly a few times, she's friendly enough but doesn't come see me at all. The people on the left are outright assholes and got me in trouble with the law 2 years ago! The woman on the right doesn't go past her front porch. I've gone over to talk to her a few times and we converse for a few minutes but, that's as far as it goes. A girl down the street has a dog and I keep getting these coupons in the mail for dog food that I giver to her. She walks her dog past here a lot but never stops in to see me. Most often, when someone walks or drives by the house, even though I have no idea who they are, I'll wave hello to them. Sometimes they respond in kind, sometimes they act like their shit don't stink.
It was the same way at my house, a number of the neighbors would say hello to me as they went by but none ever came over to spend any time with me.

I think people in general have become so individualistic and there is no sense of commonality in North America anymore.

She's always been pleasant and smiles but I think part of it is that she's married and just had 2 kids. You know how women are. As soon as they get a boyfriend they want NOTHING to do with any other man! They won't look at you, they won't talk to you, they ignore the hell out of you!!
