Do you have a memorable New Years Eve kiss?

I was invited to a party hosted by a friend from college. I showed up early and did not plan on staying very long. I met a girl there who was also there early. We hung out the whole night. I did not expect to meet anyone that night but she was really nice and I really liked her. When midnite came we looked at each other and she planted this big kiss on me. Then I kissed her back. Later when the party broke up we sat in my truck and listened to music and made out like a couple of teenagers until it started to get light out.

My first date with Helen was in Gainesville on December 15, 2020. It went well but no good night kiss at the end of the date. Our second date was in Gainesville on December 19. It went well and ended with a ½ second very chaste kiss on the lips, not passionate at all. I invited her to Jacksonville on December 31 for dinner and then to watch the fireworks downtown. At midnight, the fireworks started erupting, I looked at Helen, she looked at me, and this kiss was PASSIONATE.

That's when I knew.

We will be getting married on April 27 next year.

Sunny was a beautiful girl who got there before my b. f. and stuck her tongue down my throat. Twelve years later she gave me her last kiss before she passed away in the morning on New Year's Day—because she had timing like that. So it has become a joke in the house that the dogs get kisses at midnight before the long-suffering b. f. does.
