Who will be online during the New Year celebration?

We have a bunch of wonderful people here from around the world. Literally.

We will celebrate New Year soon, and most of us plan to attend some parties or family gatherings or last-minute arrangements.

But some of us have no plans, or like me, have plans of spending this time at home. So who will be here with me? It could turn out to be a constant 24-hour celebration online, so... let's try :D

I will celebrate a few hours later than my friends in Asia and at least 6 hours earlier than in North America so I can even catch some sleep before my friends make a toast.

My fiancee must be at work at 6 am on January 1, so I doubt that we will go out on New Year's Eve. She will probably be in bed by 10 pm and I will be awake, so I'll probably be online.

She works for a major grocery store chain and they are a very good employer. She actually prefers going to work at 6 am and finishing by 3 pm.

I did get to witness a marriage proposal for a New Year's broadcast from Chicago. I don't think it was staged. My sister thought it was a bad idea to put your spouse on the spot like that, I kind of agreed. It's like those proposals at sports venues. Way too much pressure.
