I don’t necessarily think empowerment is the right term for what is important. It should be more about demolishing the social constructs that hold both men and women back.
Not all men and women fit within these social constructs so not all of them are free to be themselves. And of course we could still be social if there weren’t any social constructs, those don’t have anything to do with actual socialising
How would anyone fit into anything if there were no social constructs? Seems like it would be a boring society. If a society at all would be possible without these things.
Why does everything have to be given labels? In hunter-gatherer times that used to be important to be able to make quick judgements, but in our society we don’t need most of them anymore. (A label for murderer and such would still be useful of course)
If you dont give things labels, how are going to express even basic emotions? I'd rather fit into some agreed upon ideal than pretend ideals are not real because they have no materialized form.
Social constructs make everything that more simpler and efficient. Not having them would be a nightmare because it would cost so much energy to understand another person. It makes no sense.

What makes you think these so called social constructs hold men and women back? If all social constructs are destroyed, can we still be social?

Giving emotions labels is something else than categorising people

Not any more or less then men’s empowerment since men face many inequalities too but women’s is the only thing our society sees to care about
Women should have the same rights as men in every country
Totally agree pal!
Higher than dealing with wealth inequality, but lower than global warming. Somewhere in between there.
It has been causing nothing but problems in the workplace, schools, relationships, and more. The old days were much better for all.
What do you mean when you say empowerment? What actions does require?
equality and non discrimination should be important for everyone that was born from a woman
If we are talking about gender equality sign me up. If we are talking about female supremacy to men then no.
It's clearly the most important topic of the 21st century
Because... I don't have a clue
For me it's important because there is still work to be done in some countries
We need to focus on men now, too many men are suffering
Considering now in my country you can be heavily fined for not having at least 50% of women, I'd say way too much.
I think women are too selfish to be given rights, a reroll of history is what I prefer.
They have ad much power as me so why trynna make women more powerful than men making it unequal?
Interesting at best, Zealous at worst.
i think they are already equals.
Its stupid and unnecessary
I am pro women power
Very important
