Because men only bring up International Men's Day on International Women's Day. If it's so important that you have a day, why weren't you celebrating it on November 19?
So did you post something on GAG in celebration of International Men's Day then? Because I think the problem is most men don't care about how celebrated it is until they see how much women celebrate their day. You have all the power to spread the word about it, so why don't you?
Can you link me to it? Because you're one of the only people who posted about it. Most men didn't bother to post anything about International Men's Day until March 8. At least, I didn't see anything about International Men's Day on November 19.
Okay, but the point still stands that men were quiet about International Men's Day until they saw women celebrating themselves. You and a select few others are the exception (if you're telling the truth), but the majority of men don't care until they see that women have something they presumably don't.
Because women have to have the spotlight now seeing as we men have had it for all history, and if we but make one sign of presence in this world we oppress them, as according to feminists.
It probably has more meaning as women were struggling a bit in the rights department in the past, which now is not the case but the celebration still continued at the same size. So it really makes no sense, why not use both days equally to celebrate how much progress we have made and achieved! :)
because men are not appreciated as a gender. we live in a female white matriarchy suppressing men and denying their livestyle trying to eliminate their nature.
That is historically inaccurate, not only did women get the vote, but so did poor men, and even further back it was only land owners (and in Britain Woman land owners also had the vote, then lost it).
not the degree that they need to be having movements over it. I have never seen guys riot or bitch about things like that. I'm not saying no man cares, we just don't care that much. Women can have a huge party on Women's day all they want. I don't care about any of that. They do, or they care more.
You couldn't possibly be wondering this unless you look at this from a vaccuum. As if there is no historical or cultural context that you could investigate.
Outside of that as well. You realize that child marriage still happens in the US and native women are still oppressed in Canada? Don't act like gender discrimination isn't a thing in the West, because even you people have a long way to go.
What you shouldn’t do is act like you opinions are correct cause at the end of the day if you can defend your statement then you really shouldn’t believe in them, now as a Canadian citizen I can say that native people are oppressed in my opinion because they have to much rights they get free land and don’t pay taxes, if live is easy then there’s no reason to work hard thus all the drug and alcohol abuse. And when it comes to gender discrimination men are more discriminated against than women, turn on the tv for five seconds and all you see is women disrespected men and say that we are evil. So if your arguments are valid you should be able to deconstruct my argument but if they’re not then you’ll leave because you hate being challenged.
@chris_987 um i do watch TV and read newspaper all i see is news about some man burning his wife alive for dowry or some two year old child getting raped 🙃
I also had to represent Canada at this one UN simulation conference and I perfectly know what I am saying because I had to do thorough research staying up at nights to learn about discrimination against native people in Canada.
Lol but you see the difference in my argument vs your? Your 17 I’m 32 I’ve traveled all across Canada and worked in every province along side native people and spoke to them, your ran a simulation! So tell me why any one should believe you more than me?
And if a man in India is burning his wife for dowry that doesn’t mean all women are oppressed, it means that women in India are looked at as less than a man, the key word there is India.
Why do you assume feminists hate men's day. And regardless, men have always had their day. Only until recently it was technically men's day everyday lol

Culturally men don't recieve gifts to be wooed, so you can't sell shit, so nothing exists.

It was probably on my previous account not on this one

i guess some women don't speak fluent sarcasm... xD too bad.
Voting rights for women are only 100 years old. Men could always vote and be in politics.
That is historically inaccurate, not only did women get the vote, but so did poor men, and even further back it was only land owners (and in Britain Woman land owners also had the vote, then lost it).
I've heard it also used to required the draft, something most women didn't want to participate in.
Even most men don't care about men's day so why would it be celebrated?
I have to say that both women's and men's day are relatively new for me. Mothers and fathers days are more traditional.
Men are celebrated. All our heroes are men: Jesus, Moses, Paul, Peter, Job and Daniel.
Sadly guys don't care about that. But I for one do.
This is how our day is not recognized.
Because Men don't really care, for the most part. There are some men that get upset about.
Women get more upset about lack of balance than men do.
Men do care
not the degree that they need to be having movements over it.

Maybe not you but guys have started celebrating men's day now
Great for them. I have never seen any man care about it, or not enough for me to tell that they care.
You couldn't possibly be wondering this unless you look at this from a vaccuum. As if there is no historical or cultural context that you could investigate.
Dumb question, and sexist too.
Because men's only concern is not having men's day celebrated enough while women's concern can range from female infanticide to forced marriage! 😊
Isn’t that just in the Middle East?
More than the Middle East.
Okay the Middle East and the Asian countries.

you are full of shit
Don't you feel ashamed to reflect your own self in that manner, especially reacting to someone just speaking the truth?
Lol but you see the difference in my argument vs your? Your 17 I’m 32 I’ve traveled all across Canada and worked in every province along side native people and spoke to them, your ran a simulation! So tell me why any one should believe you more than me?

U can't judge one billion people for a few hundred crimes.
@chris_987 did you just assume that I'm from India.
Seriously, get help. That narrow mind and racist behavior is utterly disgusting. I'm gonna say it directly that YOU DISGUST ME. Yuck.
Your to predictable don’t you have any other move than call people racist?
There's nothing more left to tell a racist really 🤷
First of black people can be racist and secondly I think you learn you might be young now but I’m sure one day you’ll know what your fighting for
I never said Black can't be racist and it's none of your business what I 'fight' for. I don't like the idea of fighting.
Lol I already realize how this conversation is gonna end so that why I’ve moved, sorry for wasting your time
You only wasted your own time.
Lol I said I’m sorry what more do you want from me?
tbh where i live its celebrated just as women’s day sooo
Why do you assume feminists hate men's day. And regardless, men have always had their day. Only until recently it was technically men's day everyday lol
Im not assuming. If u do a little digging online u will see the feminists not only hate men's day but fathers day too.
They really don't 😂 and the internet will only give you the extremes of anything so
every holiday we have in America started mostly by a MAN where the hail you been.
I was waiting for this comment lol
I think both are ridiculous tbh
Me honestly don't give a fuck. We don't need to be celebrated to feel better about ourselves.
womens day, has nothing to do with feminists
men who claim feminist. are just angry cucks
Like I said, just more angry male cucks
I didn't know there was a men's day.
