yep, and marriage was healthy pre-feminism.
Was that sarcasm? Despite what people are taught, marriage pre-feminism in a lot of areas really sucked for men a lot worse than it did for women. How would you like to go to jail if your wife comments a crime? Or how would you feel if legally you had to provide for her, but if she had a job, you had no right to her money? A "successful marriage" isn't the same as a happy marriage.

Maybe you have to do your own research. Saying that an article or an opinion is badly written because there is no references is pretty much a short cut to thinking. Do you go to a restaurant and eat a meal without knowing exactly who cooked it? Most likely. Do you ask where that food came from? Not likely.

The working mother is a good percentage of the population. My best friends parents have been married for 20yrs in a "both parents work, both parents clean, both parents care for the children" relationship. Its not the type of relationship but rather the people in it. I dont plan on being a stay at home mother, that would kill me. I have a good mind, why would i waste that just staring at four walls and changing diapers? I plan on getting a PhD, i love children, but being a fulltime mother or fulltime worker isn't good for either my future children or myself. You need a balance.
Not thats there's anything wrong with one parent staying home, but i dont think it should be forced on someone because they have certain genitals in their pants.

Now i know you are lying, because if you plan on getting a PHD then hopefully you are smart enough to figure out that you will not raise the child. You will not have enough time for this child, and if you do for some reason decide to have a child because you are selfish enough to have this child live through his childhood without his mother, then you will have to have a nanny. Your child will suffer due to the nanny being the replacement of the mother while knowing that he still has a mother, a mother cannot replace herself with a hired nanny.

It's quite simple, mothers are suppose to be there for the child while the father works.
Women on average do not work more then men, even today. It's evolution, It's been like this for thousands of years. I'm not saying that mothers never worked, cause being a mother is extremely hard. But through out history they never went out for the resources.
This is why women are healthier and live longer, it's because nature intended them to take care of the children while the men went out and got resources.

Why not? I mean past experiences and life situations are there so we can learn from them and protect ourselves and guide us to how we want to live our lives.
