My girlfriend loves dolphins. They're her favorite animal. I thought I should get her an engagement ring in the shape of two dolphins with the bottom tips of their tails touching and their noses almost touching, where I'll have the diamond. Is this a good idea? I've seen rings that look like dolphins, so I know a ring can be designed like that, but I've never seen a ring exactly like that, and never an engagement ring like that.
That design seems too casual for an engagement ring. Definitely a great idea as a regular gift for her since she loves dolphins. But for an engagement ring, I feel like something more traditional would be better.
I would prefer the engagement ring be something he personally picked out for me. My wedding band however, might be designer but i intend to pay for it
This depends on how the recipient feels about this sort of thing. Sounds like you know what she likes so for her this sounds like she'd really like it. Good luck!!
