finding a wife is deemed a crime in America these days (or least the current society wants to dictate who should be your wife)

you're not even allowed to vet for her because it's considered "misogynistic"

is she fit and takes care of herself? "oh you're so shallow"

is her body count too high with a history of cheating? "oh you're just insecure"

does she have massive debt? "oh you're just a broke loser who can't afford me"

does she know how to cook and clean? "oh she doesn't have to do anything for you"

is she pro-life and wants to protect kids? "oh, it's her body, her choice, screw kids"

meanwhile she has laundry list of immutable characteristics which is has ready to diminish you from face to height, abs, money, job, status, being a good simp etc.

No need to denigrate selfishness. To be selfish is the most natural thing in the world. The problem is most people just aren't smart about it. They don't look at the bigger picture nor plan for the long-term. They just chase after immediate gratification and act in a myopic manner.

But if we weren't selfish, we'd all be dead. We have to take care of ourselves first and foremost because everything else we do is contingent on our own health and wellbeing.

Western women aren't raised to be wives anymore. They are raised to be self sufficient and that's how I raised my daughter whether that's right or wrong. My wife is from SE Asia and before she turned 8 she was taught to cook and clean or she wouldn't be able to attract and keep a man. She's totally dependent on me like a 50s housewife and I don't think every guy would want that.

Two incomes in the west are necessary in most households so the role of a wife has also changed. It interesting to compare but its two completely different eras and not an apple to apple comparison

I think so. Women these days aren't raised to be wife material in the traditional sense. They're raised to be self sufficient and independent - I don't need a man for anything.

That being said, I'm a western woman, but I was raised by a mother from a third world, who encouraged me to be independent and self sufficient, but I don't see anything wrong with my partner doing things.

At the end of the day if we are husband and wife we are a team. He takes out the garbage, I take out the garbage. He cook's I Cook. He cleans, I clean

Quality of women have significantly decreased in the USA, along with far lower expectations of them, while most expectations of men have increased. Pair bonding has been largely ruined because there used to be a much smaller gap between the potential relationship quality of men and women, but since many men's quality/expectations has increased (with a small but noticeable group of men that greatly decreased), and a large majority of women's quality as potential relationship partners has decreased. The gap in quality is very wide now so the majority of people are incompatible.

The low and moderate quality women think they deserve a high quality man because of the small group of low quality pathetic men that are very desperate and give lots of attention to average and below average women.

Yes by a large amount. But this is not just in the USA but across the developed world. All this feminist and woke nonsense is responsible for it. The quality of women is on a decline, which is why i operate a pump and dump rule.
