Obesity at high, an all-time high, men and women don't know how to dress anymore, everyone's saying that there is not a good man or a woman out there for them, is this some of what is factoring in to the decline in birth rate and marriages at least in the West?

Nope.

I think birth rates are down for several reasons.

One reason is the cost associated with raising children; time, money, fun. With our societies currently being built upon immediate gratification and pleasure, children are becoming less and less appealing.

Another reason is that social media is offering a quick fix and satiating the sexual drives of both men and women. social media for women and porn for men.

Final reason is that men and women seem to require each other less and less for anything other than birthing children. There is no co-dependence in relationships anymore unless it's intentional.

Oh, and another reason is interpersonal skills. Given the rise of the internet and technological interactions, it seems these things are often taking precedent over real interactions. People don't know how to interact with other people in real life.

That is an interesting theory. Obesity is indeed a problem. When I was growing upin the 80s it seemed like just about every girl you would see at the beach was attractive. Some were extremely hot even.

No, I don't think that's the case. There are other reasons such as not being able to afford to take care of a child for 18 years, or simply not wanting to take on all the responsibilities, including the financial ones. This happens especially in cases where both people have careers and neither of them wants to make sacrifices for the child. Some people simply want to live their lives carefree. Also, few others also have infertility issues.

Women are waiting too long to have kids, the average age being 30 and the average amount of kids is 1.6. To maintain the population women need to have 2.1 children at least.

The average woman marries at is 29 and 50 % is the on average how many adults are married with a 40% divorce rate.

Basically women are marrying later at 29 and having 1 kid by 30 and divorce at around age 42.

No. Childbirths are probably lower due to people having a choice thanks to modern contraceptives and also the current economy being very demanding in both the amount of time people need to work and how little over they could dedicate to their family.

As for marriages? Its primarily a religious custom so as people become less religious they also feel less pressure to marry as opposed to just having a normal relationship. Not only are marriages a bureaucratic nightmare, especially when you are trying to get a divorce, but it is also in essence a form of loss of freedom which makes it somewhat undesirable.

No. People maybe be more narcissistic and pickier than they've ever been. But it ain't because people are uglier. Nobody trusts anyone anymore (and with good reason) most people today are not capable of a real commitment. So people chase what they know will be temporary and frivolous. But that is just more reason not to commit. So it's just a process that cannibalize itself. 💩ty people get 💩tier. And over time it all just gets worse.
