If my passive income building plan works I will be able to work part time for entertainment reasons and not because I need food and shelter.

I wish you luck with your passive income goals. To be honestly only valuing marriage for financial gain or religious obligation seems quite cynical to me. Personally I don't really value marriage for anything other then procreation.
