HOW TO SPOT A FAKE CLOTHING WEBSITE.

Many of you like me love online shopping, where we can relax on our beds and simply have our things delivered to our front doors, beautiful isn't it, however there are sites bent on ruining the experience by selling fake things! but no more! shall we ever fall victim to such, below are things fake websites normally do that are different to real clothing sites,

(1.) The photos have backgrounds: This is the biggest sell out, no professional clothing site takes the clothes with a background because real clothing sites want you to see the colour of the clothes not influenced by any lighting. Fake site always have backgrounds because they just take random pictures and put them on the site.

(2.) The models faces are cropped out: The faces of the people wearing the clothes are always cut out, because they are using the pictures the pictures without consent and the pictures maybe of a well known model whom we can easily google and catch them in the act.

(3.) You never see a model twice: some fake sites do show the faces of people wearing the dresses but you hardly see the same model twice, which is a red flag and says that this person doesn't actually model for this site.

(4.) They cut their prices a lot: A normal clothing site only cuts prices on special days or holidays, or on items that are not selling very well, a fake site is fake so they cut prices immediately they see that people are not buying as much, on any day at all.

(5.) They have partner sites with the exact same pictures: let me give you an example check out these sites

https://www.rosewe.com/maxi-dresses-c312 and https://www.rotita.com/maxi-dresses-c312

see!!!!! fake!!! i bought from them twice!!! and each time was shit!!!!!!!😠😠😠😠😠

Now there are some exceptional sites which have backgrounds in pictures and sometimes cut of the models face e.g. https://www.touchdolls.com/collections/dress?page=5 but merchandise is quality and exactly as in the pictures. of you know cause i bought from them and it was bomb...not for my wallet tho.

(6.) Returns are almost impossible: because they are cheap and fake, of course someone asking for a refund is their worst nightmare, they do not want to lose money so they do everything they can to change your mind, including offering you another dress for free.

And remember always do an image search with google, if you are sceptical after a google search then let me recommend this site:

I hope this helps anyone like me with a history of fake websites( well it was two items but it still hurt)

happy shopping!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
