Cheap Gift Baskets Under $20

For whatever reason, you need a gift, but you either have no money to spend or you don't want to spend a lot on the future recipient. Here are some gifts that you can give on the cheap under $20.

1. Candy Basket

Find a clean mug. Fill it with a bit of festive cellophane or tissue paper, then take BBQ skewers, and tape the candies to them. In order to get the candies to stay in place, you can stick the skewers in some craft styrofoam taped and cut to fit in the mug. Make sure to buy candies the recipient actually likes. All of these supplies can be found at the dollar store.

2. Movie Basket

Fill a popcorn bucket (can be found at a dollar store) with all sorts of movie snacks, and then purchase a Red Box or Netflix card so the recipient can have a fun stay at home and chill night by themselves or with someone else or family.

3. Coffee Lovers Basket

Find a nice basket at a thrift store for cheap (trust, they have tons!--and use this tip for all the baskets), and fill it with coffee goodies. Get your coffee lover their favorite brand or one you want them to try because it's THAT good. You can tuck in some homemade cookies or treats, a cute mug, and/or a Starbucks gift card (if the actual coffee blows the $20 budget).

4. Snuggle Basket

For that new mom/dad, get them a snuggle basket filled with a book, a soft toy, a cute onesie, etc. that will encourage them to snuggle more with their little one. Places like Ross or other discount stores offer some sweet cheap deals on toys, clothing, and books for young ones.

5. College Survival Basket

Think of all those middle of the night study session essentials you use or you needed back in your college days, and gift the student you know, some of those "you'll need this" essentials. Rather than stick this in a regular basket, put all your goodies in a laundry basket, because you know they'll need that too.

6. The Gift That's Worth A Sh*t

I don't care who you are, you can definitely use toilet paper. This is a great gift for anyone with a sense of humor or who is really practical. You can get a mega 36 roll pack for about $16. Tuck in some extra bathroom goodies (sample sizes are cheaper) and wrap with some pretty ribbon or twine.
