Do girls like artists?

I ask because I'm and artist and I draw alot, anything from anime to portraits... If I like someone I usually draw them, just as a gift and sort of a way to say I think about them and am willing to put in time doing something for them.

If you do like artists or not, why? is it what they draw? how good they can draw? Is it a dull hobby?

I personally love artist since I myself am one. I can not draw worth a crap so I admire anyone who can draw. No it is not a dull hobby and people who think so need to get a life art is one of the few ways you can do anything you want in order to express yourself. I would LOVE to have someone draw something for me as a gift it lets me know to spend time on me. Good luck :) :P :D XD

i like guys who are artistic. to me it makes me feel like they have a wide imagination,and their a creative person. I think it's what they draw. but if a girl didn't like getting a picture,then that's crazy. I think giving her one is a cute little gift.

Oh my goodness YES! I love artistic guys! But I'm a graphic designer who started out as a doodler/cartoonist. Still, I think it's sweet that you would draw the person you're thinking of. Gosh, that would have gotten my attention! LOL!

See I'd show them drawings I've done of them if I told them I'm drawing one, but when I do it when I'm just thinking about them, is it not abit creepy? That's what I worry about lol

Personally, I don't think it's creepy. People think of other people they like when they listen to songs or watch movies. Artists tend to have their thoughts leak out onto paper. It's normal...and beautiful. You might want to keep the drawings away from uncaring eyes but if anyone ever said anything, just give them the music analogy I gave above. No one will argue. Keep it up - I would have kept a drawing a boy did of me for life. Seriously.

I drew two for the girl I like at the moment, she got them framed and hung them in her bedroom lol I'd done the same for two of my ex's and they still have theirs in their room. So I guess its not that bad lol

Thanks for asking this, my dude. I was wondering the same thing because I'm in a similar situation. Except my styles more realistic because I sketch. So I was wondering if that changes anything?

yes, that's hott. I love guys who are different and artistic. I would love a guy to draw me. I wouldn't even care if it came out good or not. the thought alone would turn me on.

Would you not be creeped out if he done it? That's what I worry about lol I usually ask them if they want one done, even though I've already drawn it :S just so I don't seem weird

It depends on the girl. but yeah, I think you should ask first cause some girls might be offended.

True, I find it hard though cause when I'm bored, I usually just think of someone I like and draw. I used to do it in anime so if they ever saw they wouldn't know lol lame I know.

hmm I tend to do the same.. if I like people, I draw them. artistic guys are very handsome to me, be it drawing, painting, writing, music- any type of art
