Girls, do artists turn you on?

I'm an artist and I work with nude models in my studio on a regular basis. In 25 years of doing this, there's never been any unprofessional interaction between me and a model. It's always been my belief that they are there out of an interest in art, not anything else, and I make a point of giving the respect I would any co-worker.

My wife's (female) cousin says that "if that's true" (it is), it's only because I've never tested the waters. She claims that it's not possible that these models are not turned on and interested in me while they're posing nude. I pointed out that, besides the fact that I'm not anything great to look at, I'm 45 and most (not all) of the models I work with are between 18 and 25, so it's pretty ridiculous to think they'd be attracted to me. She says that doesn't matter because girls think artists are sensitive and romantic and the fact that I'm a successful artist will erase any age gap or lack of physical attraction and make most girls hormones start to rage.

I don't have any intention of changing my behavior in the studio, but I'm curious whether she's right or I'm right. What do you think?

She's right. Even if they don't show it, being alone and naked with a successful artist probably puts them in a naughty mood.

Artists affect some girls that way, but probably just as many aren't affected as are.

She's full of it. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

I think that while some girls do believe that artist are romantic and poetically flawed many of them also get overlooked. I think that for your profession its not like its p*rn, so I do believe that the reason nothing has ever happened is because obviously you are not interested in that and therefore, that's not the vibe you are giving out. Also, I think that while some girls are attracted to artists I do think that you are right that they look at their posing as a form of artwork or a job and with a job you need to be professional..

I'd vote B, myself, though since I'm on my phone I can't actually click it. My feeling is that you're attracted to who you're attracted to and not every girl goes mad over an artist simply because he's an artist. If any of them are ever aroused it's probably more due to them being nude than anything else.

Okay, here's my opinion. Because I'm an "art geek" I'd say it all depends on the women. Some find men such as yourself captivating in your own way. Some may find it romantic, while others see it as work for you. Honestly, I'd say maybe try to talk to some of the models you work with BEFORE you do anything; perhaps even a little "inspiration" may come your way and you'll have yourself a muse. I don't plan to do anything either way. I considered asking some of the models I've worked with enough to also become friends with, but I was afraid that might make things awkward in the studio next time.

Well, if you become friends, in a sense that's progression. But if it doesn't work out with friendship in the studio...well just try it with one of them. If it works, hey you got a friend, if not, then you have knowledge of what NOT to do.
