Asking a girl's friend about her...is it right?

Girl B-Her best friend

Now please don't say I'm "going behind her back". These two are best friends. I told girl B I wanted to see Girl A over break when asked about my Christmas break plans. She said "lol tell her! I'm sure she would."

Girl B said if I had any questions about Girl A I should feel free to ask. I said I feel like asking any questions would work against me. She said "Nooooo"

Is it okay to talk to Girl B about it? I don't want to mess anything up.

Talking to her friend is not a bad thing, but there's not a whole lot of need to right now. Once you start hanging out with the girl you like (by the way, girls like it when a guy takes a little initiative), it might be smart to ask her best friend about things like what to get for birthday, Christmas, etc. You shouldn't rely too much on someone else. My best friends' boyfriends sometimes text me questions about gifts or surprises they want to plan and such, but nothing much more than that. It might be a little weird if they texted me more than they did their girlfriends...

hmmm well girls respect a guy a WHOLE lot more when they are up front and honest. I think if girl a found out you were talking to girl b about everything then girl a would feel a whole lot more disconnected from you. it makes you and girl b seem like you have a closer relationship and that's a turn off for girls when your really close with their best friend. plus save your questions for a time when you hangout! then there would never be dead or awkward silences. talk to the girl you likee!

The ONLY problem I could see if they both like the same kind of guys. If they both like you, the friend may not be honest with you in hopes you will want her and not her friend.
