I live in flats (ballerina flats and loafers). I refuse to wear almost any other shoe because I find nothing else as comfortable. Last year, I had a pair of flats that I wore almost everyday and they got severely worn out. I had to get a new pair and now it's going the same way.
That makes me think I should invest in at least one pair of high-quality flats made of real leather that will serve me well and last a long time, and handle the daily torture I inflict on them.
I was looking online and ended up finding a pair of vintage Bally shoes being sold for less than 50 dollars, its original price is hundreds of dollars so it undoubtedly a great deal. It is real leather, but as I never heard of this brand before and so far it sounds good I'm trying to make sure I'll be able to get good use out of them.
If you know any other brands that fit the criteria I'd highly appreciate any recommendations. I did consider the classic Chanel flats too but I am not sure if they would be ideal for daily wear especially in a wet and cold climate.
