I often use cash, unlike my cashless husband (for whom I've come to the rescue a few times). I pay cash (or with a check) when purchasing from family-owned restaurants and other businesses so they can keep all of what I pay them without having the credit card companies take a slice. I always pay tips in cash, even if I put a meal or a service on a credit card. I won't give a nickel on a credit card to a GoFundMe or other crowdfunding source; if I want to contribute to a cause, I'll find where to go where I can give them cash or a check. I support my community, meaning I'll buy candy bars and the like being sold by high schoolers at fundraisers, and those have to be paid in cash.
Great answer. I agree! I always tip in cash, especially in family-run shops in our town for the whole purchase.
I use cash a lot, especially now that Canadian bills are basically waterproof. They feel so clean and stuff nowadays. I often find that carrying around physical money gives a sense of security as well. Like what if your debit card fails? Well…. Money won’t. Ya know?

Unless it's a large purchase, I almost always use cash to buy things. I find it a quicker and more convenient transaction. Unlike credit cards or bank cards, there's also no bank fees or interest to pay either. Ever. I avoid using cards at all costs if I can.
Everything I buy I put on my card because of reward points & when my bill comes in I piss off the credit card company by paying my bill in full. On the flip side I do carry cash for emergency use & a backup plan as well. If I’m traveling cash is king if the gas station or store looks shady.
Since the pandemic hit I use Google Pay or other online payment apps 99 out of 100 times. It's more convenient, quicker, hygienic and you don't need to worry about having change. I do keep few thousands in my purse in case my bank server is down.
I use cash and gift cards to buy things because I don't trust banks and credit cards because I've heard stories about them getting robbed and hackers stealing people's credit card information so I'd rather just use cash and gift cards than risk losing all my money to a hacker or bank robber
I often used cash in stores (especially if it is an owner operated place so they are not stuck with the card fees) or when I'm travelling, as it gives me flexibility, and I reserve cards for on-line use through a third party like stripe or paypal but not the latter much any more.
I always carry at least $100 in cash, plus my one "family charge card" and my one "business charge card". I always tip in cash. I pay the smaller shops in town in cash. And I always carry a few singles in the summer for those lemonade stands that pop up run by local kids.
There are three places I go which are "cash only" and I cannot use a card, which is what I use for everything from rent to taxes. One is a pub, one is a Mexican restaurant, and they are both really great favorite spots of mine.
The third is the laundromat, which I go to very rarely, I don't think I went even once last year or this year.
I always keep some cash in my pocket, just in case, machines are down. I do some reno work and tree removal jobs and often pocket that money. I'll use the cash for outings, food, etc.
99.99% of the time. I hate using a card and only do to pay certain bills. Or If i shop online, i use a gift card
About half the time I'll use cash. I almost always buy gas with cash because it is normally at the lower rate at the gas station when you use cash.
I find cash harder to spend because I actually see the money, it isn't numbers on a piece of paper.
I look at it and think what did I have to do for that, or how long did I have to work for this amount of money.
I use it often, it breaks down in smaller bills, then coins. then i can use them coins to make them into dollar bills. Constant cycle of money, I would say ;D
I exclusively use cash for purchasing stuff.
No ''power'' over me given to banks is my (financial) priority.
To say it mildly: Fuck them
Only in foreign countries where I have to switch currency. Here in sweden it's debit card all the time.
Sometimes. I prefer to use a card. But I already know that I can't use it in some places, so I always have some cash with me.
I never use or carry cash. I get too worried that someone will try to rob me.
For small purchases cash is quick, secure and anonymous.
When I have to … otherwise I keep my cash and use my one and only credit card!
Rarely use cash, as I use a Debit card for almost everything, and RARELY use my credit card.
I mostly use cash
Boot fairs are cash only ditto the face to face gold buying as well as being easier for charity shops
Never, haven't for years. I can keep track of my spending SO much easier via card / phone payments.
If a place doesn't take electronic payment, I go elsewhere.
I use cash for all of my in person purchases. Government can pry my physical cash from my cold dead hands.
I like cash because cash transactions are far less traceable. If I sell one of my guitars I insist on cash in hand.
Try not to carry much cash but I use it on small purchases and sometimes I get a discount for using cash
a lot at my job but I day 2 day life not that often

All the time, every time. I have never used a credit card, or shopped online, and I never will.
Very often where possible. Its easy to keep track of my expenses mentally. For eg groceries and fuel.
When I was able to leave my house, I almost always used cash, now since I can rarely leave it, I mostly buy stuff online using my credit card.
I use cash in 99% of payments
It's pretty rare and card 99% of the time.
Maybe once a year.
I don't use money to purchase things.
Rarely anymore 😁
