I don’t have much money. My dad bought them 3 gifts. They won’t have anything for us. Should I give them a big, scented candle? I know a place where I can buy one for twelve dollars. They smell really nice, too.

A nice scented candle could totally work as a gift for your cousin and his wife! $12 is a good price range too since money is tight. Here are a few thoughts:
- Make sure to pick a scent you think they'd both enjoy. Something neutral like vanilla or cinnamon is usually a safe bet.
- See if the store has any Christmas-themed candle options, like ones with holiday designs or scents like pine/gingerbread. Could make it feel more festive.
- Include a nice greeting card where you write a little note inside thanking them for everything. Nice personal touch.
- Maybe add in a small treat you baked yourself like cookies or fudge if the budget allows. Shows you put thought into it.
- Candles are always useful and make the house smell nice. I bet they'll appreciate the thoughtful gift.
Don't stress too much - I'm sure they'll just be happy you wanted to get them something at all. With the card and nice scent, that candle will be a great small gift on a tight budget. Good idea!
If you went to Walmart you can probably get a similar size candle for half that price.
Candles are really nice. I think you should do that.
