Valentine's Day! That time of the year... Valentine's Day isn't just a "girl holiday." It's way more inclusive than that!
It's when gals get together on February 13th to celebrate their friendship, but honestly, the idea can extend to anyone wanting to show a little platonic love.
The whole deal started way back to honor Saint Valentine, a dude who was all about love and defying rules to honor it. Fast forward through centuries, and here we are, turning it into a day where we go all out to show our affection through gifts, quality time, or even a simple, "Hey, thinking of you and you're awesome!"
Both guys and gals get into the spirit, giving and receiving gifts, planning surprise dates, or just chilling together watching a favorite movie. It's not about going broke buying fancy presents; it's the thought and effort that count.
So, in the spirit of modern Valentine's Day, it's definitely not just a holiday for the ladies. After all, in a world that could always use more kindness and affection, why limit who gets to celebrate love? Let's make Valentine's Day a day for everyone to share a little heart, shall we? 💖

No. I, and all the people I know always thinking about what to give the men in the family/friends.. etc.. etc.. maybe in your circle of people and the people around you, the girls are less affectionate when it comes to this holiday? which would explain why you have this perception..
My boyfriend and I are spending Valentine's day smoking cigars and drinking champagne. I think Valentine's day, if celebrated at all, shouldn't be aimed at one person over the other. I've never seen it that way, at least.
No, it not just for female. Many females think that. They see it as a time for others to spend money on them. It not true love. True love does not demand self-seeking.
It a fact that Valentine Day is a money making business. Women are very obsessed with it because they think it all about them. They expect their husband or boyfriend to spend all this money for them. Valentine Day has nothing to do with sex.
Valentine Day is a time to reflexed on others who has impact your life. Those would include your husband, wife, children, brothers and sisters, grandparents, cousins, aunt, uncle, nephew, nieces, boyfriend, girlfriend, males friends, female friends, etc, etc.
It a time of celebrated. A time to said thank you for being in my life.
No female, Valentine Day is not just for you. It for everyone.
According to research that was recently published, girls spent only half of what their men spend on them for Valentine's. Either men are more lavish in their gift giving or women are cheap or both. Or it could just be that women don't think they have to get their guys nice things, and somehow guys feel differently in return. Personally, I like Valentine's, but not the commercial aspect of it. Spending time together is so much better than spending money.

I believe it's a girl's holiday. I don't know a single guy who honestly cares about it. They more care about making sure their girlfriend is happy on it. Girls seem to care about him more so the guys will end up receiving gifts as well. But in the end of the day I don't think those guys would care if they got nothing or will we skipped it all together. Sorry guys, act like they care about it because they want to make their girls happy. That is not 100% of guys but vast majority of them. And even when they do care it's usually because they want to give their girls something. But like I said if they're girl didn't give them anything they probably want it care at all.

Yes but it’s mostly candy involved and cards and red roses 🌹 for her and the guy gets candy back and a card from her. Sometimes you can exchange gifts but it’s mostly a commercial holidays for the businesses to make money. Any day can be Valentine’s Day for him and her
Valentine's Day is just f***ing stupid. It's just another day for the commercial industry to make money off of morons who feel the need to have to buy things in order to impress their boyfriend/girlfriend.
No I gave my boyfriend a Vday card. He didn't give me one back but he did pay for our dinner and movie. I don't think it's a girl holiday. It's a couple holiday.
valentines day is more a girls day than a guys course some girls do get guys presents but it is usualy not expected
It is aimed at women, clearly. Men DREAD Valentine's Day as it is another spectacular opportunity to fall short of her absurd expectations.
yeah I would say so, since girls are more about relationships and dating than guys are
It's a hallmark holiday all about the moolah. Shouldn't every day be valentines?
