How do British men show romantic interests?

There is a cultural difference. I had a dated a German guy previously and he took ages to make a move. So suddenly I find myself in a situation where a drop dead gorgeous, brilliant Briton appears to have an interest in me. But but but but but for all the intellectual stimulation, with and flirting... I am not super sure. :(

So I am asking all the British men and women out there, or the ladies who have dated British men: How does a British guy go in for the romantic kill? :)

Well personally, for me I'd start off making a reservation at a place where I knew the girl liked, I'd get shaved, cut my hair, and dress up smartly for the evening. Then I'd go to her house pick her up, give her a boquet of flowers, preferrably the color of her favorite color, then I'd take her to my car, open the door for her, then drive there. After the evening was over I'd walk her to the door, kiss her hand and leave, unless she insisted I stayed.

I know it's clichéd, but I know the Ladies love a hopeless romantic. :)

I personally think there is something undeniably heartwarming about a gentleman! I am pretty much a sucker for them :D
