I am completely uninterested in a person's appearance when it comes to choosing a mate. In fact, I cannot find a persona physically attractive AT ALL if I do not first find them intellectually attractive.
I respect individual women's decision to date men who aren't sexually attractive, but resent the pressure given to all women to forgo sexual attraction.
After all, the male partner is going to want frequent and varied sex - being able to accommodate and even relish this desire is much more satisfactory when you feel genuine SEXUAL desire on your end too.

I've never really thought twice about why an attractive woman dates someone average or below average. It does bother me if a man chooses a butterface over the cute chubby girl. In my opinion, that should never happen. I hate it when guys are with ugly women who are good looking because men are supposed to be more visual. I get it when they pick them for sex only, but not for relationships.
Other than that, I don't care who people date.

I am a private person. I don't even have a social media account. I'm not an attention whore, that feels the need to broadcast their photos to seek validation. This site also isn't even for dating , so it's un-necessary to have it up.

I think other than a lot of factors, one of the main reasons for this is we do not have a platform, as how our society is shaped (not for social), for everyone to meet everyone. At the end of the day, the types of people one can meet is always limited and from that limited human resources, when one cannot wait any longer, they will find someone at that time they think is right for them, even though it is likely that they are not the best choices.
Half that take is you directly and indirectly praising your own looks. I stopped reading there. Don't know if the other half is of any value.
You're the only person that got that impression , clearly you love twisting peoples words. It's a crime for someone to openly acknowledge that they are attractive , but let someone constantly bash their own looks , then society is there with open arms saying you shouldn't say those things. Matter a fact , people would rather listen to someone criticize themselves over and over rather than someone show confidence because that is society's norm. It's acceptable to beat ur appearance up but not to openly embrace it. People like you are major contradictions and are everything that is wrong with society.

-> Self-Praise by describing yourself in a positive manner.
Sentence 8: "I get complimented regularly by mostly men and some women. I get told I am beautiful, pretty or gorgeous."
-> Self-Praise.
None of these have any relevance to the topic of this MyTake. Meaning all you do is praising yourself.
And all I had to do was get to the 8th sentence. If I would have gone on, there is more to come. So its definitely not just two sentences. Welcome reality.

When you see images of mixed couples, its always a black guy and a white woman. Usually the woman is also blond. It's never a white guy and a black woman. Images and commercials have a strong effect on the subconcious mind. So in a way images like that can be called propaganda.
I thought the same thing. More importantly the title is about "unattractive men who get attractive women", so in that pic the blonde woman is the attractive one, which makes the black men unattractive? I don't know, I just had coffee.
One would insinuate that if I didn't show a extremely diesel black man towards the end, and say that he is attractive.

It's one thing to face blatant racism, it's another to look for it when it isn't there.

So he was actually attractive, not unattractive. And I think he got lucky with you. Not saying he isn't a quality guy, but there aren't many people who would overlook physical appearance just because someone has certainly personality traits. I would know. I'm a short guy who's been rejected because of his height despite having, what I'm told, a great personality.
He's overweight. A lot of people would view that as unattractive. As for his face, I thought he was average/cute. Just the fact that he wasn't handsome , and I am thin & fit looking people think I could have automatically have done better.
I really think based on physical looks there is no such thing as being out of someones league.
