Honestly nothing. I mean nothing can make me cry. I hurt myself and hated myself and tried to stay alive as much as possible. The only thing that keeps me fight on day where I can't sleep is that damn hope for adventure. I can't wait.
Thanks! I try and apply the same attitude myself when I'm in traffic or something. If someone is being abrupt or rushed, I've learned to tell myself, "Oh.. they probably have an emergency." This actually happened to my mom in traffic when she raced to the hospital to see my dying grandfather. Some a-hole in traffic wouldn't let her pass him thinking she was just being a jerk on the road. Finally at a red light she was behind him and flew out of the car to his window in tears and said, "I *have to* pass you!! My dad is dying and I have to get to him right NOW." He was so caught off guard and was sorry about it, he said he had no idea and let her go. Just goes to show no matter what your situation, you have no idea that someone's bad moment is for a pretty good reason.
The answer is yes, so I guess that gives me a right to complain? Kind of stupid logic. Many people *haven't* worked in retail and still know the right-and-wrong of how to talk to a customer when they're being paid and on the job. I guess with that, have you ever been a customer anywhere or do you sit at home and everything magically ends up in your cupboards? If you have been a customer, has every single experience been a good one, or have you ever walked out of a store/restaurant and thought your dollar wasn't valued because something went wrong? If you have never been a customer, disregard. If you've been a customer and every experience you've ever had was awesome, disregard. If you've even so much have been to a 7-Eleven and had to wonder what was wrong with the cashier because they were an idiot, then did you say anything later to someone you knew about what a joke it was? Lastly, have you ever had to deal with someone dying of cancer? Happy times, right?

As someone who's about to start working in retail soon, this take is a good heads up for me. Thank you.

It doesn't matter what the background is, all customers should t be treated kindly and with respect. And I'm sorry :(
It's stories like this that make my thankful my country doesn't let us autistics work in customer service...
Simples...
Customer service is hard. It is a true test of character and self-control.
Poor customer service
